South Sudan’s National league is set to start next week according to the football Association committee who received donations of 22 million SSP from Zain Telecommunication company who will sponsor the League in the country.
Speaking to Eye Radio based in Juba, the football Association’s spokesperson Mr Albino kuek confirmed that the money will be used to pay referees and Organize committee during the league added the Zain company donated 50, 000 and such money will be use for facilitation.
The tournament will promote peace and reconciliation among the citizens. Football unites people together despite their differences and this will be whistling the sound of forgiveness in the nation despite leaders who are yet to tour the country to preach peace to the communities.
Two weeks ago the Minister of sport and youth met President kiir in his office Mr Albino Bol who briefed the president about the project and policies his ministry designed to help the youth while stressed that the ministry is working hard to build Olympic headquarters in the country.
